If you like this profile, remember the name "Carla J" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).
The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets
Growing up, I was always surrounded by pets, whether it was pet chickens, dogs, cats, or horses. I developed a deep love for animals during my life and I believe that they deserve all the love and care that can be given to them.
I grew up owning two horses and three dogs. As I learned about their temperament, behaviour, and routines, it helped me in my overall understanding of animals. I really enjoy bonding with animals!
At home, our current pet family consists of two dogs and a cat. Lulu is a Maltese poodle and Yukie is a cross between a Poodle and a Yorkie. I love taking them for walks and cuddling with them as I watch some series. I also really enjoy bonding with the cat, Kat-Patat. She is such a playful and cute little animal. I really enjoy meeting new dogs at my family and friends’ homes and I’m always amused with each individual dog/cat’s personality.
I’ve helped at a doggy outreach for Little Paws in Secunda recently and it’s reminded me how much I enjoy caring for animals. Being two years out of the house, I really miss having animals around me all the time and I would love to be responsible for bonding and taking care of animals again.
