StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Carmen W" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

All my life I have been an animal lover and I am very blessed to have animals of my own. Currently, I have three cats – Gizmo, Fiona and Roxy. They are all rescue cats with very interesting life stories. While growing up, I also had the privilege of having a dog named Abby, who we rescued from the SPCA, as well as three cats named Ariel, Mischief and Jasmin.

I was a volunteer at the SPCA in Midrand and I am looking to become a volunteer in Pretoria too. I have had experience in looking after dogs, mostly very active German Shepherds, as well as cats and fish of friends, family and strangers. I also Au Paired in America for a year where I not only looked after a little boy, but also his pet dog, cat and three fish.
