StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Charné Po" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

Pets have and always will play a huge role in my life. Since I can remember, there have always been animals of some kind surrounding me. I grew up in a small town in Mpumalanga and was honoured enough to have a variety of animals in my life through the years.

Currently, I have one lovable dog named Wolfie, a fiercely independent cat named Jessie and two amazing horses named Yster and Vonk. I am also a bird breeder for international exports and there are currently a large number of feathered friends in our backyard.

I have looked after pets in my area while their owners were on holiday and I also volunteered at Wokutakula Wildlife Education for a month where I worked with both farm animals, wildlife, exotic animals and pets.

I’ve known Charné for three years now. She has been involved with numerous activities at our church on a weekly basis for the past few years. These include feeding schemes for the poor, camps and outreach activities. She is a very generous person and always puts other's needs before her own.
