“Everyone thinks they have the best dog and none of them are wrong”
Although I have always had absolute admiration and respect towards animals, I had only learned the true importance of caring for each pet individually when I adopted my very own first dog, Benji. There is only one way to describe Benji in short; he is the best thing in my life. In the first few days after I adopted him, were there a lot of uncertainty between the two of us. I was unsure of how to care for such a small puppy (I was used to our two large German Shepherds and he was advertised as a Dachshund mix, turns out I’m still not sure what breed he is) coming from such horrible circumstances, and he on the other hand was unsure of his new surroundings and especially of people.
However, no matter how uncertain we both were, one thing was for sure; our paths were meant to cross. I read every article possible on the behavior of adopted dogs who are traumatized by their previous circumstances and how to ease the transition into a new home as much as possible. I spent continuous time with Benji, day in and day out, learned every detail of what he likes and dislikes. For weeks on end was my focus to learn how to make him feel safe, healthy and most importantly loved in our home, according to his own requirements.
Today Benji is a happy, sassy and very loved member of our family. From a place where he did not allow anyone other than me to come near him, does he now take turns to nap on each family member’s feet. Where he was once too scared to leave my room, does he now go on daily runs with my father, and he loves every minute of it. It is still a daily journey with him, and I would not trade it for anything else in the world.
Benji taught me how important it is to care and love for each animal according to their own unique way. Thus, when I have the opportunity to take care of other families’ pets, do I make sure to give each pet individual care as they require. For example, the three huskies I look after regularly (and which I’m very fond of): Nova is a gentle soul and needs soft cuddles, whereas Phoenix likes a playful challenge and Leja, well let’s just say, she’s a girl who can be soft and strong simultaneously.
Each pet has their own special personality which makes each one of them quite remarkable, and so, is it possible that each pet is the best in the world? Well, yes, it is, without a doubt.

Please describe how you know this person:
Cornelia has looked after my family's pets multiple times and she has done an amazing job.
Please confirm that you are not an immediate family member, romantic partner or close friend of the above person.Confirmed!
Additional notes:Before we discovered Cornelia and made use of her service, our pets would be extremely agitated and overwhelming when we arrived home from a long trip. After we started using Cornelia our pets now could almost not care less when we return. She makes an extra effort to see to your pet's needs and to give them the attention and love they need. She is a true animal lover and would go the extra mile. I would highly recommend her in any industry where she would be working with animals.
