Experience with animals and own pets

I have had the extreme privilege of growing up in a family whom all loves different types of animals.

My first furbaby being a basset hound named Fred, who was companion to my family for nearly 15 years until his passing.

More recently I adopted my own furbaby from our local SPCA, his name is coffee and he is a Daxi cross. Never have I ever had such a connection with another animal. Coffee is my biggest joy in my life and I spend every second with him at home watching movies and studying to going for car rides to markets and the dog park.

I have picked up an interest in fish keeping and now have 3 tanks standing in my home. One being a tropical fish paradise. Another my goldfish tank and lastly a Siamese fighter on her own.

Along with my wide variety of pets at home I am officially baby sitter to my grandmother’s pride and joy cockatiel, Crackers who is 7 years old to date.

I tried keeping my love for animals alive outside my own, I ran my school SPCA food drive for three years and I am a volunteer at my local SPCA. I love spending time with animals and getting to know their personalities and quirks. I am the person who stops and says hello to dogs when walking home.
