StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Jodie A" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

My love for animals started from a very young age. Growing up on a farm and having a mom who runs a pet hotel, allowed for me to understand all different animals and all their unique needs - even by breed!

I have three dogs of my own – two rescued Pugs and a Miniature Pinscher cross. The one Pug is very special needs, as she has asthma and heart disease. She is on a strict regime of medication and this means I have become very committed to time constraints and expectations.

Over and above this, they are my children and nothing makes me feel better than giving them a cuddle every day. Not to brag or anything, but I have ten years of professional experience with various pets and breeds from helping my mom in her boarding kennels and veterinary clinics.

I have house sat on many occasions for family members and strangers and enjoy the space I get being in new environments.

Jodie is an excellent candidate to look after both your home and your furry family members. She is patient reliable and trustworthy. She looked after our zoo last Christmas, including our very intimidating macaw and she did a superb job.
