StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Jordon F" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

I love animals, especially dogs. I have a Golden Retriever named Riley and she’s a year old, as well as a mixed puppy named Beethoven, who is about months old and was adopted from Pietermaritzburg Rescue. I see animals as family, not pets, and treat my dogs as if they were my siblings.

I also stayed in a commune this year where we fostered dogs for the Cape Dachshund Rescue, and when the dogs were adopted and we waited to foster the next two, the house would feel so empty. I always feel that a house will never be a home unless one has a dog, or any other animals for that matter. I love cuddling Riley and Beethoven, and my favourite thing when coming home for the day is having the two of them run up to me in excitement and lick me, even before I’ve had the chance to put down my bags.
