Experience with animals and own pets

Pets are the best!

I grew up with family and friends who supported me with a wide and unique range of pets over the years. I currently have 5 dogs - two Alsatians, one Yorkshire Terrier, one Pekingese and one mixed breed. I also have three cats, two fish, a Tarantula and two Marmoset monkeys. I also have experience in taking care of snakes, lizards, birds, rabbits, mice and hamsters!

I am always open to new experiences with furry or scaly friends and I take their needs, as well as their desires, very seriously.

I am planning a long route to Veterinary Science, but I am starting with Animal Science first. I have observed and assisted veterinarians and a dog hydro therapist before - both of which gave me a great deal of knowledge and experience in animal behaviour and healthy function.

I would love to bring joy to pets in need of care taking!

Additional notes:

He is a pet lover with the desire to become a vet. He is very good with our dogs and they are very fond of him. He could keep our Spaniel calm for a haircut, which previously we had to take to a vet before they could do anything. He loves all kinds of animals, having a couple of different pets himself and he is always saving injured birds, dogs or whoever crosses his path.

He will be a student at Tuks next year for Veterinary Science. He has a definite passion for animals and their well-being. He has rescued many animals, once off a mountain cliff, endangering himself. He recently took an injured Hoop-Hoop to a bird rehabilitation center.
