StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Keagan M" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

I have three Scottish Terriers and a Juliana teacup piglet. I’m crazy about my Scotties. We have two females and one male and their names are Riley, Beasley and Angus, and they constantly make me laugh. The piglet’s name is Abbigail and she’s quite a character. She seems to think she’s one of the dogs!

I can’t imagine a life without animals. If anything, it would be quite dull because I feel like I have something to look forward to each day, in the form of four precious fur children that I absolutely adore.

I have volunteered at FORA on a few occasions and I’m always getting into trouble with my parents when I find a new animal that needs a home while volunteering. I’m the person that makes people stop when I see an animal on the side of the road, and I have in fact found homes for two dogs that I picked up as strays.

Would you trust this person with your own children, home and pets? Yes, I would.

Please describe how you know this person:

My wife and I started attending our church at the beginning of this year and that is where we met Keagan. She is part of the volunteers at the church and welcomed us in on our first day. As time went on we got to know more people at the church.

We had planned a long weekend away over the Easter season where I had arranged with friends of mine to take care of our animals, but they let us know a few weeks in advanced that they weren’t able to anymore.

I decided to try my luck and spoke about it at our church and one of the elders of the church suggested Keagan, as she had house sat for them and a few other members as well.

Please confirm that you are not an immediate family member, romantic partner or close friend of the above person. Confirmed!

Additional notes:

I was very happy to see how well she got on with our dogs. Most people just say they are animal lovers to get the job, but when we came back from our Easter weekend, our Scottie was extremely upset for the first few days after Keagan had left.
