StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Lisa N" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

I used to have two puppies, named Charlotte and Paige, who were both German Shepherds. I was responsible for feeding them, grooming them, taking them for walks and cleaning up after them. When I started varsity this year, I gave them to my little cousins who stay in Pretoria, as my parents are always away, making it impossible for me to see and take care of my girls.

I love working with animals and if I was not studying Journalism, I would have become a vet! My experience with taking care of pets is largely concerning dogs, because I have never had or been afforded the opportunity of playing with or caring for other animals. I would love to have the chance to broaden my horizon and take care of other animals.

This opportunity appealed to me so much, because not only would I be making a little money for myself, but I would be doing something I love in the process, which is taking care of and spending time with pets.

I know Lisa as one of the youth at our church. As a youth leader, I have worked closely with her doing various activities, where she has gone the extra mile, doing more than what is expected of her. She has also watched a group of Sunday school kids, of different ages, every Sunday since 2015.
