The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets
I have quite a few pets and if I had the space, I would have more. I have a Yorkie named Oortjies and he's my little baby. I also have Candy, Charlie, Roxy and Chutney who are the ferocious Chihuahuas and Lallie, who is an African Grey. My gran also has kitten, Lola, which I regularly play with. I love them all so dearly.
We also rescued a Labrador puppy off the street and no one claimed him, so I did and gave him a loving home. I love taking Oortjies on afternoon walks and drives, and grooming is necessary. In 2015, I was an au pair in New York where the family owned two dogs named Yoda and Izzy. I had to feed them and take them for walks, and it was very hard to say goodbye to them.
In 2016 I was a nanny for a wonderful family who managed a private nature reserve. They had a dog named Monty. I had to make sure that he was fed and at night I had to make sure he was home because hyenas were always lurking about. This year I also had the opportunity to look after 2 Jack Russells while the family was away. My general duties were playing with them, feeding them and taking them for walks. They also enjoyed an occasional swim now and then. On Saturdays, I volunteer at Springs SPCA where the doggies are allowed out of their cages for human interaction.
