StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Nelis U" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

Hi, I'm Nelis, I've been looking after animals since I was 7 years old.

I Looked after quite a few budgies, hamsters and 2 Dogs during my school years. I had a Boxer called Johnty who loved to bits, we grew up together and we played together a lot. The things he loved the most, was to bite the wheels of the lawnmower or trying to bite the water while chasing the sprayer. I loved taking him for a walk and he use to get spoiled a lot.

After starting my studies, I started to look after people’s houses and pets during my holidays when I'm at home.

I've looked after dogs, cats, iguanas, snakes and bearded dragons. I made sure they were well looked after until their owners returned. I love animals and it’s nice to help other people out when they need their pets and houses to be looked after.

I've also helped raise one or two dogs for friends of my parents. It would be a honour to look after any animal, and to help other people.
