StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Nicki L" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

Since I can remember, animals have been part of my life

The first pet I can remember was my mom’s Persian cat, Frankie. I grew up with him and was very sad when he died of skin cancer.

Around high school, I got my first puppy, a male Toy Pom. He was cute and the fluffiest dog I had ever seen! I enjoyed having him as a pet but about a year and half later our next-door neighbour’s Chow Chow attacked him and sadly he did not survive.

My second pet was a rescue dog my sister brought me. Her owners were going to give her to the SPCA but my sister said she had a home for her. She is the best doggie ever - a little on the naughty side but a very loveable dog.

We have a house full of Dachshunds – all 4 of our family dogs are of this breed. We also had a cat until recently but unfortunately had to rehome him due to the rules at our new complex.

I also have experience with hamsters, chinchillas and corn snakes.

I have taken care of my mom’s co-workers dogs.

I love animals - they are a big part of my life and would be honoured to look after yours!
