Pet Parent Instruction Sheet: Stay-overs

We'd like to look after your home and pets exactly the way you want us to!

Please complete the form below to let us know how to do so. This will take about 10 minutes, but once we have this on file you never have to complete the form again. All sitters recommended to you now and in future will be sent a copy of your completed instructions before the meet-and-greet and will bring it along in case they have any questions.


  • For example: Mufasa - Persian cat and Ginny - Jack Russell Terrier
  • Please enter a cellphone number. This number will be used for daily Whatsapp updates about your home and pets and will also be the first number to be used in case of emergency.
  • Please enter your full physical address
  • For example: Mufasa eats a teaspoon of tuna in the morning and evening. His dry food bowl must be filled with Hills at all times. Ginny eats 2 big spoons of mince in the morning and evening. Her dry food bowl must be filled with Royal Canin at all times.
  • For example: Mufasa sleeps in the kitchen at night. Make sure all windows are closed. Ginny sleeps at the foot of the bed.
  • Daily dog walks are already included in our prices :).
  • Basic daily grooming is already included in our prices :). If you need this, please elaborate in "Additional notes" below.
  • Please tell us about any further requests, precautions, special needs or instructions. For example: When leaving the house, always make sure Mufasa is inside and that all windows are closed. Please put Ginny in the back garden and make sure the gate is closed.
    Sitters communicate with you on Whatsapp while you are away. Please indicate your preference below :).
  • You are free to allow your sitter no, full or limited access to food in your home. We highly recommend giving your sitter some basic food items (e.g. frozen meals; pasta; bread; coffee, etc.) as this will make them feel welcome, and encourage them to spend lots of time with your babies :).

  • For example: Milk, coffee, cereal, snacks and bread only.
  • Please indicate if your sitter can use all or only certain appliances and electronics (e.g. TV, oven, aircon...)
  • For example: Please do not use any electronics in the main bedroom.
  • For example: Name: Pieterse Password: Pieterse1234. If you'd be more comfortable giving this to your sitter in person, please feel free to do so :).
  • Please let us know when your refuse is removed so your sitter can make sure the bins are outside.
  • For example: Use code 1234 to open the complex gate. The green button opens the gate at the house. At night, lock all doors and security gates and activate the alarm with code 5678.
  • In the interest of making your sitter feel comfortable, please let us know if you have security cameras in/around your home? :)
  • Please tell us about any further requests, precautions, special needs or instructions. Example: Please note that a domestic worker comes every Tuesday. Please open for her at 07:00. One cup of chlorine is to be added to the pool every Wednesday and Sunday. The pot plants have to be watered daily.
  • Our general policy is to allow stay-over pet sitters to be accompanied by one other person (also sleeping over). This is, however, entirely at your discretion.
  • Our general policy is to allow sitters a maximum of 2 visitors at any one time. There will thus never be more than 3 people at your home. No parties are permitted whatsoever. Allowing visitors is, however, entirely at your discretion.
  • Please tell us about any further requests, precautions, special needs or instructions regarding visitors. For example: Please do not talk outdoors after 22:00.
  • We already have your number (entered earlier). You will be contacted first in case of emergency. In case you are unreachable, please provide us with the details of someone close to home - e.g. a neighbour or friend - who can be contacted.
  • If possible, please provide us with another number you will be reachable on when on holiday (e.g. guest house landline).

    Please select all that apply. Sitters will never use emergency cash for any personal use. Invoices/slips will be kept for pet- or home expenses. These, along with your change, will be given to you upon your return.
