StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Roni A" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

My home was always filled with pets when I was growing up. I currently have three cats (Diago, Pudding and Tigger), two dogs (Zavi and Skye), as well as four goldfish.

Zavi is an adorable, quirky Golden Schipperke, who I have had for roughly 12 years now. He is a super strange dog, who cannot get enough belly rubs and absolutely loves car rides, although he sheds like crazy!

Skye is a black Border Collie cross and is absolutely adorable! It is impossible to say the word 'walk' around her without her going completely crazy! She listens to commands and is very intelligent, although she can be quite naughty when she begs with her adorable eyes.

Diago and Pudding are actually siblings that we adopted as kittens, although you wouldn't think so if you saw them! Diago is a huge tabby cat that adores endless amounts of food and attention, and has no issue sitting on your lap when you're watching a movie, as long as he gets more attention than the movie.

Pudding, on the other hand, is a multi-coloured cat and well, she's rather crazy! She refuses to let anyone touch her or hold her, unless she initiates contact. She prefers to catch her food, rather than have it fed to her and it is almost impossible to find her anywhere but next to my mother.

Tigger is super friendly and cuddly, but he's also incredibly recluse and quiet. He doesn't meow much and kind of does his own thing but he’s super loving if you give him attention. The goldfish are rather recluse as well, but they love their daily feeding!

All of my pets are essentially rescues from one circumstance or another, but they all have the biggest and most amazing personalities!

A friend recommended Roni to me earlier this year as a possible house and pet sitter during a week that I had to go away. I found Roni to be great! He was prompt in responding to text messages and emails, and utterly reliable. During the time that he spent with my two little dogs, my home was left neat and tidy, and my pets were happy and content. They were also obviously very fond of Roni.

He really is very responsible and willing to help out where needed. Roni is an intelligent, well-mannered young man with extremely high standards. I am so pleased that we have found him and will hopefully be able to make use of his services again in the near future. I recommend him to anyone with precious pets and a home that needs looking after. You can't do better than Roni!
