StudentCo Pet Sitter Profile

If you like this profile, remember the name "Sean M" and simply click here to tell us more about your pets and when you will need a sitter. StudentCo will let you know if this pet sitter is available (if not, you will be introduced to another, equally awesome, team member).

The next step is the meet-and-greet. This is an informal meeting at your home so you (and your pets!) can get to know a potential sitter. You are invited to discuss your needs and expectations openly, and then decide whether you would like to proceed with a booking. The meet-and-greet is 100% cost and obligation-free and will be arranged for a time that suits you.

Experience with animals and own pets

I am blessed to have two beautiful dogs and two stunning cats. Chloe, an 8-year-old unknown mixed breed, suspected to be a mixture between a Chihuahua and a Jack Russell. Jesse, a 15-year-old Miniature Doberman. Kirby a 4-year-old Tortoise Shell Calico. Lastly, Emi, a 3 year old mixture of white and black.

Chloe is a rescue dog who used to be very scared of people and ran away whenever she saw a person. She is now one of the friendliest dogs I have ever met. Chloe and I are best friends. When I’m at home, we do everything together!

All of our pets are free to roam the house as they please and socialize with everyone in the house. Sometimes I play with them and other times I cuddle up watch a movie with them and the rest of the family.

Growing up was quite an experience for me, as I am a crazy animal lover, no matter what the species! I have had three rats named Scurry, Sniffles and Po, a bunny named Bun Bun, a tortoise named Burger, that my parent saved from a street merchant, a small corn snake, a Chaco Gold Knee Tarantula and many different types of fresh water and marine fish. I have experience in house sitting for family friends and other families that my friends have recommended me to. I get along with animals very well, no matter the size or species!

I have been fortunate enough to treat Sean since he was 12, and in turn have also gotten to know his family, as they are also patients of mine. For the past 3 and a half years, I have also employed Sean to sit at our front desk on weekends and late evenings.

This role was significant in that he had to interact with patients and run the practice whilst we were busy. Sean was a valuable member of the team and we could always rely on him to help out where he could, if our usual staff were not able to fulfil their duties.

My friend suggested him as a possible pet sitter when we were away for a week. My dog has epilepsy and I preferred to have someone staying with him at home where he is familiar and comfortable, especially if he did have a seizure. He also took care of my fish for me whilst I was away that week.
